BCA Grad Brings Championship Design to Blue Jays’ Historic Postseason Run

Adam vanLuttikhuizen

When the Toronto Blue Jays take the field in pursuit of the 2025 World Series championship, they’re backed by more than just talented players – they’re supported by a visual identity that captures a nation’s championship dreams.

Leading that creative charge is Adam vanLuttikhuizen, a 2023 Bachelor of Creative Arts graduate from Yorkville University, whose work on the team’s  “Want It All” campaign has helped shape the rallying cry for Toronto’s postseason push.

“One of the big highlights this season was developing the logo and overall look and feel for the ‘Want It All’ postseason campaign,” said vanLuttikhuizen, a Senior Graphic Designer for the Blue Jays. “Seeing that roll out everywhere has been surreal.”

The campaign’s reach extends across every touchpoint of the fan experience – from Rogers Centre signage to broadcast graphics, merchandise, and social media – making the design vanLuttikhuizen contributed to one of the most visible elements of Canadian sports culture this fall.

VanLuttikhuizen’s educational journey combined hands-on creative training with academic rigor. After graduating from Toronto Film School‘s Graphic Design & Interactive Media program in 2019, he went on to complete his Bachelor of Creative Arts at Yorkville University while working professionally in sports design.

“TFS definitely gave me a solid foundation,” he said. “It taught me how to push ideas further, work under pressure, and collaborate, all things I rely on every day in sports design where deadlines are tight and the stakes are high.”

That foundation has proven essential in his current role with the Blue Jays organization, which he joined in 2022 after spending several years working in hockey. His recent promotion recognizes both his creative vision and his collaborative approach.

“I’m now a Senior Designer on a super collaborative team here,” vanLuttikhuizen said. “I’m lucky to work with such a talented team, and I’m really grateful to be able to contribute alongside them. None of this happens without everyone pushing together.”

For a designer whose work is now synonymous with one of the biggest moments in Canadian baseball history, vanLuttikhuizen remains grounded in gratitude.

“Being part of this moment with the Jays has been incredible,” he said.

“To have our work seen all across the country and tied to such a huge moment in Canadian baseball is hard to put into words and something I’ll never forget.”
