On. Sept. 9 and 10 a Scholar Strike is planned by members of the academic community across the country. This action is intended to bring attention to systemic injustice aimed at the Black community and Indigenous communities.
Yorkville University unequivocally opposes and disavows racial discrimination in any form. We stand in solidarity with the Black community and Indigenous communities in the fight against systemic racism and injustice.
We support and encourage faculty and students who wish to take part in the Scholar Strike initiative to do so. Further to that, Yorkville is committed to hosting webinars, workshops and panel discussions on this topic in the coming months.
